The project and the challenge
Maximus Mykonos is a 5-star boutique hospitality project, designed with a clear architectural identity and a strong aesthetic direction.
The distinctive nature of the project was that the physical presence had to be developed before the full completion of the physical space, without available photographic material.
Vima Guru undertook the task of translating a complete architectural concept into a cohesive digital experience, capable of functioning as the brand’s first and primary point of contact.
Strategic approach
The direction was not merely aesthetic — it was structural.
• Functional minimalism as a core navigation principle
• Hierarchy of content with low cognitive load
• Rhythm and whitespace reflecting the spatial experience
• Colour palette inspired by the Cycladic landscape: stone, sand, off-white
Development was initially based on CGI material, with a gradual transition to real photographic material, maintaining full consistency between the digital and physical experience.
At the same time, the UX strategy was designed with a clear commercial role: direct booking access, mobile-first logic, and clean conversion pathways.
Result
The website now operates as a core expression of Maximus Mykonos’ identity and as a key performance tool.
It achieved:
• A cohesive and recognisable premium digital presence
• A strong first impression before the guest’s arrival at the hotel
• Stable performance in a mobile environment
• A clear and efficient path to booking
At the same time, a complete rebranding and domain migration was implemented within a few weeks, without loss of SEO or functionality, ensuring the continuity and credibility of the brand.
