Copywriting

Copywriting that sounds
like you on your
best day.

At VIMA GURU, we help brands find their voice and tell their story in words people recognise and remember. Website copy, campaign lines and taglines, newsletters and editorial content, written in Greek and English for every channel.

LINES WE HAVE WRITTEN

Savor the luxury.

Maximus Mykonos 5* · website

ON THE PAGEA website headline, a tagline and a building-site sign: three lines, three clients.

LANGUAGES

Greek and English, written natively.

Every text is written in each language, not translated from the other, so that it sounds natural to the people who read it. For international projects we also manage multilingual copy, as for The Ring in Cyprus.

01 THE IDEA

Generic is easy.
Specific is remembered.

Most marketing copy could belong to anyone: “stunning views”, “prime location”, “quality since forever”. We look for the detail only your business can claim, and write it in a voice your audience recognises.

  1. A BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Luxury hotel with stunning views and exceptional service.

Twelve suites, one view: the Aegean, from the moment you open your eyes.

  2. A RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

Modern apartments in a prime location.

Four minutes to the metro. A garden waiting on the fifth floor.

  3. A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

Reliable construction services of the highest quality.

We build what architects draw, on schedule, and we answer the phone when it rains.

02 TONE OF VOICE

Same language, different voices.

A tone of voice is a set of decisions, not a list of adjectives. At VIMA GURU, we place every brand on a few clear scales, then write rules and examples your team can follow. Two illustrative profiles:

SeriousPlayful

Illustrative. Each tone of voice is defined with the brand, in Greek and in English.

03 WORK

Words in real projects.

A tagline that became a symbol, a website written before the hotel opened, and a narrative told across languages and markets.

‘Infinite Quality & Taste’, and the symbol it inspired.

01Korinthian FoodsFood & beverage

A tagline that drew the logo.

For a company repositioning itself in a changing market, the line ‘Infinite Quality & Taste’ came first. It gave the new identity its central idea, the infinity symbol, and set the tone for the website copy that followed: clear messages, a confident voice and the company’s history told with restraint.

02Maximus Mykonos 5*5* hotel · Mykonos

Writing a hotel before it opened.

With no photography yet and a building still under construction, the words had to carry the experience. The copy follows the hotel’s philosophy: discreet, refined, never trying too hard to impress, from the website to the welcome card in the room.

EDITING

“Most of good writing is deciding what to leave out.”

Every text goes through at least one round of cutting before you see it. Shorter copy is read more, and remembered longer.

Lifestyle, investment and credibility, in balance.

For the largest residential development in Larnaca, the message framework balances three things buyers weigh: the life they will live, the investment case and the credibility of the developer. Multilingual copy carries the same narrative to every market and every touchpoint.

05 THE METHOD

From listening to the last full stop.

Four stages, with drafts you can comment on directly, so that the final text is yours as much as ours.

  1. 01

    Listen

How you talk about the business, how your customers talk about it, and the words your competitors already own.

  2. 02

    Find the voice

Tone, key messages and a few sample texts, agreed before the bulk of the writing begins.

  3. 03

    Write

Drafts in Greek and English, structured for the page, the screen or the print format they are meant for.

  4. 04

    Edit

Cutting, checking facts and names, proofreading, and a final read on the real layout.

06 QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions about copywriting.

Short answers to the questions we hear most often. For anything else, our team is happy to help.

  • Yes. Our team writes natively in Greek and English, so each version reads as if it were written for its audience, not translated. For multilingual projects, such as The Ring in Cyprus, we also coordinate copy in other languages.

  • A tone of voice defines how a brand speaks: how formal or warm it is, which words it uses and which it avoids. If more than one person writes for your business, or you work with several partners, a written tone of voice keeps every text consistent.

  • Yes. We can write for a site designed by another team, ideally early in the process, so the structure and the copy develop together. When we also design the website, copy and design are planned from the first site map.

  • Yes. Website copy is written for people first and structured for search: clear headings, the terms people actually search for, and metadata for every page, without stuffing keywords into the text.

  • The number of rounds is agreed at the start of each project. Because we agree the voice and key messages before writing in bulk, revisions are usually about fine-tuning, not starting over.

  • Yes. Names and taglines are often where a brand begins. We develop them together with the strategy and the identity, as with Korinthian Foods, whose tagline ‘Infinite Quality & Taste’ inspired its symbol. See also branding.

  • VIMA GURU is a marketing agency with offices in Athens and Corinth. We write for brands across Greece and abroad, such as The Ring in Cyprus, and meet in person or online, whichever suits the project.
